ReStore Named US Chamber Honoree
The Quad Cities Habitat ReStore has been selected as a Free Enterprise Honoree by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The U.S. Chamber has announced 75 Blue Ribbon Small Business Award® winners of 2010. In addition, 25 businesses were named Free Enterprise Honorees for their strong business practices and contributions to the economy. "We are honored to be included among these outstanding businesses", says Cindy Kuhn, ReStore Director. "The ReStore succeeds because of the strong support of donors, customers and a wonderful paid and volunteer staff."

The Habitat ReStore Quad Cities has been designated a *Free Enterprise Honoree *by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. On March 1st, the U.S. Chamber announced 75 Blue Ribbon Small Business Award® winners of 2010. In addition to the Blue Ribbon businesses, 25 small businesses, including the Quad Citis ReStore, were named *Free Enterprise Honorees* for their strong business practices and contributions to the economy. ReStore makes a "splash" in July 4th Parade! ALL units in the Bettendorf July4th parade were "splashing" this year but spirits were high as volunteers, partner families and staff marched through raindrops to represent the ReStore. This is the first time the ReStore has appeared in the Bettendorf Old Fashioned 4th of July Parade. Watch for us in the Rock Island Labor Day Parade at the end of the summer! Read more >>
